Jeana DeMairo, Ph.D.

Background

Dr. DeMairo is a licensed clinical psychologist and provides telehealth services in New York, New Jersey, and Florida as well as in-person treatment in Manhattan and Westchester. She specializes in perinatal mental health issues including the treatment of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), infertility and loss, and interventions for non-birthing partners. In addition, she has extensive training in parent-infant psychotherapies and works with children, adolescents, and families. Her clinical work aims to incorporate a trauma-informed, attachment-oriented treatment approach. Dr. DeMairo completed doctoral training at the New School for Social Research and postdoctoral training at the Motherhood Center of New York (TMC). She has trained at various institutions in NYC including TMC, NYC Health + Hospitals / Bellevue, Maimonides Medical Center, NY- Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, VA NY Harbor Healthcare System, and Mount Sinai Beth Isreal. Dr. DeMairo provides individual and family / couples therapy treatments. She also offers supervision and consultation in perinatal mental health and parent-infant psychotherapy.
